PEOPLE in Wyre Forest will have the opportunity to go for hundreds of new jobs after a growing Kidderminster firm signed a deal with a district recruitment firm.

IGS, Lens Online and Vision Labs, who are based in Kidderminster and part of the Specsavers Group, has signed a two year contract with Hewett Recruitment.

Their plans for expansion will see at least 200 new jobs being created during the next 24 months.

And as sole supplier Hewett, whose head office is in Kidderminster, will manage sourcing and supplying operatives with the necessary skills required for the growing demands.

Between them IGS, Lens Online and Vision Labs already employ more than 1,000 people in the town.

All the general managers from the firms said they were delighted to work with Hewett as part of this mutually beneficial deal.

Tony Browne of IGS said: “Hewett’s have a high level of engagement and are respected by the local and wider community.

“Their reputation for treating local people well, fits with our outlook and values and ensures they attract the best people for our business.”

Adrian Tune of Vision Labs added: “We have been impressed by the way Hewett’s have taken the time to understand our business needs and respond to our unique and often demanding requirements.”

Doug Lynes from Lens Online said: “We are confident we have chosen the right partner to give the flexibility and high quality people we will need as we grow.”

Louise Hewett, from Hewett Recruitment, said: “Winning this contract cements a great relationship with a world class local business. It’s great news for us and means more jobs for local people.”
