ROCKY the Rabbit has hopped with excitement as he and a volunteer raised more than £60 for their charity during a Bewdley street collection this weekend.

On Saturday (April 25), Rocky teamed up with Sarah Hebblethwaite to raise the £60.05 for Fat Fluffs Rabbit Rescue, which is based in Hampton in Arden.

The charity's events coordinator for Worcestershire and the Black Country, Julian Phillips, said: "We are very grateful to the people of Bewdley for their generosity. We are also grateful to Cat Banks, proprietor of Bewdley Blooms, for letting us use the back of her shop to get ready."

On Sunday and Monday, May 3 and 4, Fat Fluffs will be returning to Bewdley when it has a stall at the Bewdley Spring Fair in Jubilee Gardens.
