DOGS of all shapes and sizes will be wagging their tails at a Stourport care home’s fun dog show.
Pet lovers from the local community are invited to bring their dogs along to Ravenhurst Residential Care Home, in Lickhill Road North, on Saturday, May 30, between 12pm and 5pm.
Entry to the classes, which will include waggiest tail, best trick and best in show, will be £2 per dog, with all proceeds being split between Forest Dog Rescue and the home’s Residents Activities Fund.
All the winners will receive a professional photograph of their dog taken on the day, a rosette and a doggy treat.
Carla Siwicki, activities leader at the home, said: “So many of our residents adore animals so we thought it would be great fun to have a dog show.
“We will have plenty of entertainment for the owners too, with stalls, games, a tombola and refreshments.”
With kennels in Far Forest, Forest Dog Rescue is a local charity which relies on donations to provide much-needed care and a safe haven to unwanted, abandoned and mistreated dogs.
