A NEW dance camp will encourage Wyre Forest children to get active over the summer holidays.
Spotlight Dance is a new summer dance camp aimed at children aged between five and 12 years old.
The camp will launch in July at Kidderminster College, and organisers are keen for children in Wyre Forest to get involved.
Lucy Pugh, one of the organisers, said: “Throughout the summer the children will be taught a range of styles from contemporary, to hip-hop, to jazz, by professionally trained dancers.
“It is a great way to keep the children active this summer and stop the boredom.
“The summer camp will end with a showcase of the children’s hard work which is open to family and friends.”
