NHS Wyre Forest Clinical Commissioning Group will be holding their first Primary Care Joint Committee Meeting with NHS England next weekend.
The committee meeting, on Tuesday, June 23, which will be held in public, will oversee and make decisions on the commissioning and contracting of services from general practices.
Primary care join commissioning arrangements can enable a range of benefits to the public and patients including improve access to primary care and wider out-of-hospitals services, with more services available closer to home and high quality out-of-hospitals care.
The meeting will start 1.30pm in the Life after Stroke Centre in Bromsgrove.
Members of the public will have the opportunity to observe the committee meeting, which will be chaired by Carol Thompson, independent lay chair.
The meeting papers are available on the NHS Wyre Forest CCG website, wyreforestccg.nhs.uk.
