KIDDERMINSTER and District Lions Club have named their new president for the coming year.
The Lions’ annual barbecue saw five times president Ron Cross hand over the badge of office to Richard Williams for 2015/16.
Mr Williams has been a member of the Kidderminster club for six years but has been involved in other Lions’ clubs for more than 20 years.
He said: “I have a lot of new ideas to bring to the club and my main focus for the year will be to increase membership.”
The Kidderminster Lions Club meet at the Kidderminster Cricket Club on Chester Road on the first and third Thursdays in each month at 8pm.
New members are welcome and anyone interested should contact the Lions on 0845 833 7483.
