THREE years on since the murder of a Kidderminster woman and her family are making sure her memory is living on.

Louise Evans was tragically killed by her childhood 'sweetheart' Alan Evans at their Stoney Lane home on July 9, 2012.

But for the sake of her three daughters, the family she left behind, and the life she led, her mother and father, Judy and Derek Bollen, said it was important she was not forgotten.

"Things are not getting any easier," they said.

"We are trying to get on with our lives because we have to.

"For the sake of the girls, Louise cannot be forgotten."

Carrying on a tradition, Louise's family and friends will be remembering her by gathering around her grave on Thursday to toast to the 32 years they had Louise and release balloons into the air as a tribute.

Mr and Mrs Bollen said: "We are going to gather around her grave on the anniversary of her death to remember her. All her family and friends will be present."
