A DRIVER that ran a car off the road and failed to stop was then involved in a second crash less than an hour later.

They were first involved in a road rage incident with the driver of a Vauxhall Singum on the A449 at Powick at around 10pm.

There was a row between the two drivers, leading to the Signum being run off the road and crashing into a lamppost.

There was no physical contact between the cars, but the Signum's occupants had minor injuries.

The first driver (who was in a silver Volkswagen Polo) did not stop, and drove away from the scene.

The second crash happened in Upton Road, Clevelode, near Callow End, at around 10.40pm.

It involved the Polo, and this time a dark coloured 4x4 car.

The 4x4 crashed into the back of the Polo, but the circumstances surrounding the crash are still unknown.

There were no serious injuries.

The crashes happened on Saturday, July 18.

Police are keen to to speak to the driver of the 4x4, or from anyone else who has information.
