A KIDDERMINSTER resident will enjoy a happy holiday after winning £1,000 worth of holiday vouchers in a raffle organised by the town’s hospice.

Pat Taylor scooped first prize in Kemp’s Summer Raffle, which is organised to raise funds for the hospice. Second and third prize winners received £250 and a kindle.

Mrs Taylor said: “I was totally surprised when Ele from the Hospice phoned to tell me the wonderful news and I’m looking forward to making plans with my family for a summer holiday.”

Ele Millward, fundraiser at Kemp, said: “Our thanks go to Pat and the hundreds of others around the Wyre Forest who have supported the Hospice through the raffle.

“They have helped to raise more than £5500 for the vital work in community supporting people with life limiting illness and helping those who have been bereaved.”

KEMP Hospice runs two raffles each year, one in the summer and one just before Christmas. Anyone interested in supporting the raffle can contact Ele on 01562 756066 or email: ele.millward@kemphospice.org.uk
