WYRE Forest Dial-A-Ride will be providing a free shuttle minibus service while roadworks are undertaken on the B4190 Franche and Wolverley Road.

The service, between Hayes Road, Fairfield and Kidderminster Town Hall, was launched on Monday (August 24) and is due to run until Saturday, September 5.

This is a free service for passengers, which will also serve the Co-Op store in Franche Road, and is running six times a day with timings being largely the same as the normal 4A bus timetable.

Nigel Caldicott, Dial-A-Ride manager, said: “We have been asked to help out local people whilst essential roadworks are undertaken and are pleased to have the opportunity to help make sure that local people are able to travel as they would normally expect to do.”
