THE artist behind Bewdley’s Hugging Tree will be selling her work during this weekend’s Harvest Fair.

Betti Moretti will be at her Saw Yard studio in Bewdley Museum this weekend selling her limited edition pen and ink prints to tie in with the town’s Harvest Fair.

Betti is responsible for the infamous Hugging Tree, located in Jubilee Garden, which for the fourth year it sporting a ‘tree cosy’.

She said: “I have a bit of an obsession with trees.

“Most of my recent pen and ink work has involved a tree of some kind and this is a fantastic time of year to come and see the Hugging Tree.

“It’s leaves are just turning for autumn and beginning to fall, the last few names will go up by the weekend and the weather is looking good.

“I am having a bit of a sale this weekend to celebrate the most colourful month of the year.”
