CHARITIES in Kidderminster are being invited to put themselves forward for a chance to secure a £1,000 donation.
Phone firm Vodafone is running is Community Connection Award scheme where good causes that make a significant impact in the area can win the funding for specific projects.
Representatives are asked to go to Vodafone’s Kidderminster store in the High Street and nominate themselves before the closing date of Saturday, October 31.
The criteria for winning is nominees must have a registered charity number, isn’t a personal or individual plight or Government funded organisation and must be for a specific project or purpose and not just to cover operating costs.
The award must also be ‘stand-alone’ and not form part of a larger contribution or appeal.
