A KIDDERMINSTER man is today (Monday, October 12) fighting for his life after falling from the roof of a house.
Police were called to a property in Radford Avenue in the town last night after receiving a report of threatening behaviour.
But, when officers attended the house, a 31-year-old man made his way on to the roof of the property and subsequently fell to the ground.
He was rushed to hospital and his injuries have today been described as life threatening.
A 33 year old man from Kidderminster was arrested at the scene on suspicion of obstructing police.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said the incident was being reviewed by their professional standards body, the Independent Police Complaints Commission, as a matter of procedure.
Radford Avenue was closed last night as a result of the incident and remained shut earlier today as investigations were being carried out.
