THE Bewdley branch of the Royal British Legion will hold their annual Proms Concert for the Poppy Appeal next weekend.
The concert will take place at St Anne’s Church, in Load Street, on Saturday, October 24, from 7pm.
The evening will begin with a parade of Standards, followed by music from the Bewdley Concert Band, singing by the Got 2 Sing choir and songs from the shows by David Lawrence.
A two minute silence will also take place during the concert.
The evening will end with a flag-waving finale singing ‘Land of Hope and Glory’ and a fall of poppy petals.
Tickets for the concert are £8, which will include a glass of wine or fruit juice.
