GOOD morning. We are here to provide any information on incidents that might crop up throughout the rush hour period this morning on our Black Country and North Worcestershire roads.

So far the roads across the area are pretty quiet but there is one lane blocked and slow traffic due to roadworks on M6 northbound between J6 (Aston Expressway) and J7 (Great Barr), with congestion down to J5 (Castle Bromwich) due to overnight roadworks over-running and causing delays.

Southbound on the M6 at the same junctions, two lanes are blocked which congestion back to J10 (Wolverhampton / Walsall) also due to overnight roadworks over-running as well as a damaged light in the central reservation.

Planned roadworks are also causing delays, these include: Bewdley Hill in Kidderminster which is closed both ways, with delays expected due to gas main work at Summer Place (Kidderminster Hospital), until December 7.

Water main work and temporary traffic lights are causing delays on Redditch Road in Hopwood between Redditch Road and Longbridge Lane, while one lane is closed on the Birmingham New Road in Dudley due to gas main work on northbound at Sedgley Road, and temporary traffic lights are in place in Callow Hill Road, in Alvechurch at Crown Meadow.

Delays are also expected due to temporary traffic lights in Redditch on Hewell Road at Windsor Road, and temporary traffic lights in Kidderminster on Sutton Road at Holman Street are also causing delays.
