MAKING sure everyone remembers that life is something to celebrate, the Fannie's Fabulous Fundraising event will have people dancing until late at a Kidderminster venue.

At the forefront of the night of music in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support at The Secret Garden on Thursday (December 10) is Anica Rnic.

Putting on 18-year-old singer-songwriter Robyn Gordon and two DJs, including herself, Anica said she wanted people to remember that life is worth celebrating.

She said she chose Macmillan because her dad might have prostate cancer and was currently undergoing tests to find out. But not only that, after she chose to hold the event, her cousin also died.

She said: "Cancer touches a lot of us and what Macmillan does as a charity is quite amazing.

"We have all had things go on and for me this is a great charity, and I think the nurses don't get enough recognition, but I think we should celebrate life and that's what we're doing with this event - celebrating life."

Starting at 9.30pm, there will also be a raffle taking place.

All proceeds go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
