GIVE thieves a ringing in their ears by making sure everyone can hear your purse thanks to Safer Wyre Forest.
Kidderminster North Safer Neighbourhood Team will be offering purse bells to shoppers in the areas of Cookley, Wolverley, Franche and Habberley as part of a new initiative.
The bells, issued to the policing team by Safer Wyre Forest, are used by attaching them to purses and wallets, as a warning method should they be lost or stolen.
The team will be at Co-op and Spar in Franche, Costcutter in Marlpool and Wolverley, Nisa in Habberley and Tesco in Cookley throughout December.
Anyone who is unable to visit these locations and wishes to have purse bells can contact the team by email on kidderminsternorth.snt@westmercia.pnn.police.uk where they will arrange an alternative way to pass them on.
