A 52-YEAR-OLD Kidderminster man who admitted downloading thousands of child porn and extreme porn pictures has been warned he is facing jail.

Andrew Webster, of Humphreys Drive, pleaded guilty to downloading a total of 6,464 still and moving images when he appeared at Worcester Crown Court.

Webster admitted nine charges all dating from September 10, 2011 to June 25, 2014, including making 2,059 extreme porn still images and

1,140 extreme porn videos. The other charges relate to child porn.

A pre-sentence report was ordered and Webster was granted bail to return to court for sentencing in the week of January 11. He was ordered to register as a sex offender.

Judge Abbas Mithani QC warned him they were very serious offences which would usually be met with a term of immediate imprisonment.
