AFTER celebrating the ending of 2015 and the arrival of 2016, Foxs Border Morris will be again welcoming in the New Year in their own way in Cookley.

The morris dancing performance by the popular group will be taking place on New Year's Day from 1pm at The Eagle and Spur for the 16th year in a row starting off the new year as they mean to go on and ending a busy year of performing at festivals and events around the country.

This year, however, the morris dancers will be joined by Bedcote Morris, from neighbouring Stourbridge, and as well as being able to watch the dedicated dancers put on their first show of 2016, audience members may also be given the chance to have a go at the traditional English folk performances themselves.

Foxs Morris meets on a Thursday, term time only, at Cookley School from 8pm to 10pm.
