A MAN suffered serious injuries after being struck on the back of the head with a bottle in Kidderminster.
West Mercia Police is investigating the assault which happened at around 3am on Sunday, January 31, when the victim, a man in his twenties, was walking down Green Street - towards the ring road and, at some point, between the carpet shops and the Tribe nightclub - when he was struck to the back of the head with a bottle.
He suffered serious injuries to the back of his head and forehead which required hospital treatment.
A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently on bail until February 29.
PC Angie Maddock would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident on Sunday.
