WE’RE getting to that time of day again where those of you nine-to-fivers begin thinking about your journeys home.

A quick look around the Black Country and North Worcestershire has thrown up a few areas where congestion might frustrate and which you may wish to avoid.

For those of you using the M5 at junction 1 or the A41 Birmingham Road are reminded that West Bromwich Albion are at home to Swansea City so you should expect delays. Halford's Lane is closed to traffic from 6.15pm until around 11pm. One lane will be closed on Birmingham Rd from around 7pm and after the match.

Other hot spots include include: *A458 Park Road, Cradley. A burst water main means the road is closed in both directions between the B4173 Colley Lane and the B4174 Park Lane junctions. A diversion is in place.

*A442 Bridgnorth Road, Habberley. One lane is closed on the westbound carriageway because of road works between the B4189 and Trimpley Lane junctions.

*Coppice Lane, Quarry Bank. Road works are being carried out between the A4036 Merry Hill and Victoria Road junctions.

*A435 Alcester Road, Studley. Road works are being carried out at the B4092 High Street junction and temporary traffic lights.
