A FANTASTIC performance from Olivia Turner and Luke Mole saw the Samurai Judo Club pair win gold at the European SN Kata Championships in Amsterdam.
They became the first British junior pair ever to win gold at a European kata event.
Turner also bagged individual gold in the junior and senior sections, while Mole also earned bronze.
The duo’s hard work over the past two months paid off as they stormed to success in the advanced stage.
Mole then held his nerve really well to win the bronze medal, while Olivia won all five of her contests and took the gold medal in the junior fighting competition for the second year running.
The 15-year-old was then asked to enter the senior section and used her impressive physical strength to dominate all three of her contests to take success.
