HUNDREDS of children from primary schools across Kidderminster were treated to a unique live performance telling the stories of Jesus’ miracles.
Operation Bible – The Miracle Maker was organised by Jubilee International Church in partnership with 4front Theatre Company and saw more than 650 pupils from eight primary schools attend.
The children travelled through a ‘time tunnel’ to encounter live actors as Bible characters including Roman soldiers, a fisherman and a carpenter, set in Jerusalem 2000 years ago.
Martin de Vine, Head teacher at Cookley Seabright Primary school who also visited the event, said: “I marvelled at the way that the children were involved in the “project” from the moment they entered the building.
“Right from the start they were totally absorbed in the activity and engaged with the first cast member who told them what their mission was.
“This event was an outstanding success, all the children thoroughly enjoyed their visit.”
