THIS weekend the County Museum at Hartlebury Castle will be hosting one of their popular Murder Mystery evenings.

“Die-de-Die – A Murder Mystery” will take place on Saturday (July 2) from 6.30pm and gives visitors the chance to dress up, enjoy themed food and see if they can work out ‘who dunnit’.

The event will be set in 1958 at ‘Nutkins Holiday Camp, Hartlebury on Sea’ where the founder and owner, Nobby Nutkins, is visiting to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its opening.

The main event will takes place inside the medieval Great Hall of the castle and will include a traditional holiday camp meal of fish and chips, followed by ice cream, and guests are encouraged to dress in 1950’s costume.

Pippa Ashmore, events manager, said: “Our Murder Mystery evenings are always hugely popular and the 1950s holiday camp theme should be a good one this year.

“The atmosphere, plot and acting are always fantastic and visitors have a great time trying to solve the clues.”

Tickets are £26 and must be pre-booked beforehand, on 01299 250416.
