KIDDERMINSTER Harriers and their supporters are set to raise valuable funds for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity this season.

The Vanarama National League North side are encouraging fans to join their bid to raise money for the lifesaving service by donating to an online fundraising page.

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, who are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, rely solely on donations from the public, receiving no National Lottery or Government funding.

Harriers Head of Marketing, Kelly Perks-Bevington, said: "One of the key aims for us this season was to build strong and meaningful partnerships and there is so much for us to look forward to this season with our work alongside the likes of Scope, who have also been fantastic with us.

"Midlands Air Ambulance relies entirely on that generosity to operate and, as a club, we’re really excited about exploring the ways we can help and do our bit."

Worcestershire fundraising manager for the charity, Michelle McCracken, added: "We’re looking forward to working with Kidderminster Harriers throughout the season.

"The strength of our relationship with the public and local businesses is what helps keep the service operational.

"At a cost of £2,500 for each lifesaving mission, every penny raised makes a big difference."
