KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have signed former Wolverhampton Wanderers left-sided defender Ashley Carter.
The 20-year-old has previously had a loan spells at Chesterfield and Tamworth and was a free agent after leaving Wolves.
Having spent time with Birmingham City and Aston Villa, he first signed as a professional with Wolves in 2014.
He is capable of playing at the heart of defence as well as at both full-back positions and as a holding midfield player.
He’s already accustomed to life in the National League North after a fruitful spell with Tamworth at the back end of last season where he flourished in amongst the demands and rigors of the level.
He said: “I had a few options but I met with the gaffer and Matt Gardiner and their determination and passion they showed towards what they want to do just ticked all the boxes for me.”
