POWER is back on across properties in Stourport after a powercut this afternoon.
Western Power Distribution (WPD) stated they were aware of the issue just after 1pm on Wednesday, June 29, in the DY13 area.
The powercut in Stourport and surrounding areas affected around 790 properties.
Engineers were able to restore power to some 600 properties by 1.40pm, with the rest initially estimated to return by 2.15pm.
After delays, however, work was completed two hours later, leading WPD to apologise for the downtime.
A statement read: "Engineers have restored supplies in the Stourport-On-Severn DY13 area.
"We apologise for the power cut there today."
