ORGANISERS of a popular annual Wyre Forest carnival are inviting floats and traders to sign up to take part in this year’s event.
Stourport Carnival will be held on September 3 this year and entry forms for people wishing to take part are now available.
Organisers said they have a number of spaces for people wishing to enter floats in this year’s parade.
There are also places available for any traders who may be interested in pitching a stall in the main field on the day.
Preparations continue and last month 20-year-old Jodie Davies, was selected to be the carnival queen. She is joined by 13-year-old Stourport High School pupil Hannah Hawkins-Long as princess and Burlish Park Primary School pupil Chloe Guise, aged eight, who is rosebud.
Entry forms for people wishing to be part of the parade or have a trader’s stall are available from Pete’s Prints in Bridge Street or Mantons Jewellers in the High Street.
