DUDLEY born England manager, Sam Allardyce, has been filmed appearing to advise businessmen on how to sidestep an outlawed player transfer practice, as part of a newspaper investigation.

In an undercover operation by the Daily Telegraph, Allardyce met people who he thought were representatives of a Far East firm following his appointment to one of English football's most coveted roles.

AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a truck was found abandoned, with its back wheels stuck in a ditch, next to a pile of waste in a Frankley field.

A passer-by photographed the truck, which was filled with plastic waste, in a field on Frankley Hill Lane, and reported it to Bromsgrove District Council.

STOURBRIDGE relatives of one of the Birmingham pub bombing victims remain hopeful of securing financial support for their legal campaign despite a disappointing Government set back this week.

Paul Rowlands’ father John was one of 21 people killed in the double IRA blasts at the Mulberry Bush and Tavern In The Town pubs on November 21, 1974.

HORRIFIED residents in a picturesque Warwickshire community are battling to prevent a quarry being built on their doorsteps, which they fear will lead to the death of the close-knit village.

Salford Priors villagers took a 1,000-name petition - and a coffin - to Warwickshire county councillors as they pleaded to "keep the heart of the village beating".
