AN exhibition to showcase the vital repair work carried out at St Anne's Church, in Bewdley, will draw to a close next week.
The work to repair the roof and high level masonry and gutters at St Anne's Church is nearly complete and residents are being invited to visit the church to see the results of the repair work.
During an inspection of the church earlier this year, it was found that urgent work was required to the roof and parapets of the church, which received a grant of £100,000 from the Government’s Roof Repair Fund for the project.
Robert Smith, from St Anne's Church Property Group, said: "We know that many residents would like to see what work has been undertaken.
"Much of the work is hidden from view and access to the roof at the church is quite restricted so we have mounted an exhibition in the church.
"This shows before and after pictures of the large amount of work undertaken on this prominent Grade II Georgian listed building in the centre of the town."
The exhibition is open between 10am and 2pm, Tuesday to Saturday, until Wednesday, November 2.
