DECEMBER has officially arrived and – perhaps unsurprisingly – the weather is cold and cloudy.

The Black Country and North Worcestershire will wake up for patchy fog this morning on Thursday, December 1, while a cold frost will also settle once again.

The fog and frost will be slow to clear but there will be some brightness in the south before cloud heads in from the north-east, which may produce spells of rain over higher ground.

A maximum temperature of 8C will drop to a minimum of 4C overnight, where there will be further cloud and a little patchy drizzle at times.

However, it should be less cold than recent nights.
