A 20-YEAR-OLD holiday worker whose death in Crete prompted the trial of a Brierley Hill man could have been injured in a drunken fall days before her death, an inquest heard.

Chelsea Hyndman died on the Greek island on May 17, 2010, from severe abdominal injuries.

PROBLEMS at Worcestershire Royal Hospital have been putting patient’s lives at risk ever since it opened, according to the grieving sister of a Rubery man who died there 10 years ago.

Debra Nickless, 56, told the Advertiser she was unsurprised to hear that patients had died waiting on trolleys at the county hospital over Christmas, after experiencing the hospital’s ‘negligence’ first hand in 2007, when her younger brother Andrew Jones died following keyhole surgery.

REDDITCH MP Karen Lumley has suffered a health relapse following a surgical procedure at the Alexandra Hospital in October.

The MP was unable to carry out much of her parliamentary work until Christmas, and did not start carrying out constituency visits and meetings until late November.
