A KIDDERMINSTER school is bidding to bag a cash boost for their latest project from the Tesco Bags of Help initiative.
St Oswald's CE Primary School, in Sion Avenue, has made the shortlist for Tesco's initiative in their project to build an outdoor learning classroom for their pupils.
Joel Marshall, St Oswald's headteacher, said: "We are really excited to have been nominated in the Tesco Bags of Help initiative.
"We are hoping to build an outdoor classroom that will enhance the children's outdoor learning experience."
Tesco has teamed up with Groundwork on its Bags of Help initiative, which sees grants of £5,000, £2,000 and £1,000 - all raised from the 5p bag charge - being awarded to local outdoor community projects.
Shoppers are being invited to head to their local Tesco store to vote for St Oswald's before Tuesday, February 28.
