BOSSES at West Midland Safari Park have closed the Adventure Theme Park and the carnivore section of the drive-through safari due to adverse weather conditions.

The Land of the Living Dinosaurs and Lorikeet Landing exhibits have also been closed.

In a statement on their Facebook page, the Park said: "Due to adverse weather conditions, our Adventure Theme Park and Land of the Living Dinosaurs will be closed today for the safety of our guests.

"This will mean there will be no access to the African Village or the Burger Co. restaurant located within the theme park.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused."

A later update on their Facebook page said: "Our carnivore section of the Safari is now closed, as well as Lorikeet Landing."

Any visitors who would like to speak to a member of the Safari Park team about the matter, can call 01299 402114.
