A FORMER Chaddesley Corbett teacher appeared in court charged with a string of historic sex offences against young boys
David Hutchings, aged 73, of Swan Court, Stratford-upon-Avon, spoke only to confirm his name, address and date-of-birth during the short hearing at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, February 28.
He is facing six charges of gross indecency with a child under the age of 14 and six counts of indecent assault on a boy under the age of 14.
The alleged offences took place at Winterfold House School in the 1980s where Hutchings was a teacher.
Hutchings entered no plea and the case has been sent to Worcester Crown Court for trial with a first hearing scheduled for March 28. He was granted unconditional bail.
