TWO people were taken to hospital after a crash on a busy road in Kidderminster last night (March 16).
West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service all attended the scene of the two-car crash on the A449, Chester Road North, near to the Rose Theatre, at around 11.30pm on Thursday, March 16.
A man and a woman were both taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
A spokesman for WMAS said: "We treated two patients at the scene.
"One was a 45-year-old man, who was driving one of the vehicles. He was treated for neck pain having managed to get himself out of the car.
"He was immobilised and given pain relief before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
"The second patient was the driver of the second vehicle, a 21-year-old woman.
"She was treated for shoulder, leg and hand injuries and given pain relief, before being taken to the same hospital."
Tw ambulances attended the scene.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "We made the vehicle safe and no persons were trapped."
