A BRIGHT and sunny start to the day will gradually turn into cloud and rain.
It will be cold out this morning (Tuesday, March 21) and, although it will generally stay quite sunny, there could also be a few showers.
Cloud will thicken this afternoon with more frequent showers, which may be wintry, mainly over hilly areas.
It will feel colder than of late, especially in the brisk wind, with a maximum temperature of 9C.
That will drop to a minimum of 2C overnight .
Much of the night will be dry and cold with largely clear skies, however, it will turn cloudier from the west through the early hours, with some rain by dawn.
