A CARE home in Kidderminster celebrated Easter with an egg-citing weekend of festivities.
Residents at Brook Court care home on Oldnall Road kicked off their Easter celebrations with a whole host of activities leading up to the main event of our resident’s Easter egg hunt.
Residents and visitors took part in a special Easter egg hunt in the care home gardens and tucked into a selection of chocolate treats prepared by the Care UK team.
Joanne Gill, home manager at Brook Court, said: “We were delighted to open our doors to visitors for some Easter fun over the bank holiday weekend. Residents and guests alike had an ‘egg-cellent’ time taking part in the hunt.
“Easter is an important time of year here at Brook Court, and many of our residents have lovely memories of celebrating Easter with their families. So as well as being great fun, these Easter activities are a valuable reminiscence activity, especially for those living with dementia.
“It was fantastic to see the different generations enjoying spending time together.”
