A GREEN-fingered Stourport man has harvested a new garden waste bin, after scooping first prize in a recent competition.
Gardener Roger Barry, of Hermitage Way, was among more than 100 residents who took part in Wyre Forest District Council's Facebook competition to win a year's free subscription to fortnightly kerbside brown bin collections.
Mr Barry said: "The brown bin has been very useful.
"I used to pile up the garden waste and then take it by car to the tip.
"It has saved me a journey and time stuck in traffic."
