DANIEL Craig has joined Pierce Brosnan in paying tribute to their James Bond predecessor Sir Roger Moore after his death aged 89.

The longest reigning 007 died in Switzerland on Monday after a “short but brave battle with cancer”, his family said.

An image of Sir Roger with his arm around Daniel as they both wore tuxedos was posted to official Bond social media accounts on Tuesday night.

In an apparent reference to the theme of Sir Roger’s The Spy Who Loved Me, Daniel wrote: “Nobody Does It Better – love Daniel.”

BRITISH Star Wars fans are desperate to get hold of the latest Vanity Fair magazine featuring a brand new cover image of late actress Carrie Fisher.

The issue is one of the US-based publication’s four special summer editions celebrating the 40th anniversary of the sci-fi franchise.

In the lead-up to her posthumous role as General Leia Organa in Star Wars: The Last Jedi in December, the full-length photo shows her posing cloaked and regal in her elegant dark outfit.

TAKE That cancelled their Liverpool tour date on Tuesday and O2 concertgoers have been warned to expect tighter security checks at the O2 Arena in the wake of the explosion at Ariana Grande’s Manchester date.

The band was supposed to be performing its Wonderland tour at the Liverpool Echo Arena on Tuesday evening and was booked into the Manchester Arena for Thursday, Friday and Saturday in their home town, but tweeted they were pulling out of Tuesday’s show as a mark of respect to the victims of the attack.
