GOOD morning. We are here to provide any information on incidents that might crop up throughout the rush hour period this morning on our Black Country and North Worcestershire roads.

So far the roads across the area are pretty quiet, but there is slow traffic on the A458 High Street in Lye at A4036 Dudley Road, A458 Stourbridge Road and A4036 Pedmore Road.

There are also areas of planned roadworks which are causing delays, including:

Narrow lanes and speed restriction of 40 mph on the M5 both ways between J2 A4123 (Oldbury) and J1 A41 (West Bromwich) due to major roadworks. Three narrow lanes running in each direction as part of long-term work on the Oldbury Viaduct.

Harvest Road in Rowley Regis is closed both ways due to drainage works between A4100 Powke Lane/Moor Lane/Powke Lane and Knowle Road, while there are roadworks in Pensnett on A4101 High Street at Tansey Green Road. Expect delays while the various traffic management systems are in place.

Temporary traffic lights are in place on A441 Birmingham Road in Redditch at Weights Lane. Lights in use at times as work takes place on a new housing development until October 15.

Electricity work and temporary traffic lights are also in place in Cradley Heath on A4100 Forge Lane at B4174 Cradley Forge until July 29.
