SIMON Cowell, the Sex Pistols’ Steve Jones and Sir Richard Branson are among the celebrities to be honoured on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The British trio were selected to get stars on the pavement along with Kirsten Dunst, Jennifer Lawrence and Luke Skywalker actor Mark Hamill.

Hollywood Chamber of Commerce chose the stars from hundreds of nominations at a meeting this month.

A GANG of youths reported to have harassed singing star Susan Boyle have been branded “vile little vermin” by Piers Morgan.

The TV presenter, who was one of the judges on Britain’s Got Talent when Boyle was discovered, hit out after the 56-year-old was “hounded” by a group of youths near her Scottish home.

TAKE That’s Gary Barlow has remembered singer George Michael on what would have been his 54th birthday.

Barlow posted an old photograph of himself posing with Michael to his more than 130,000 Instagram followers with the simple message: “Happy Birthday George”.

Michael died in December last year at the age of 53. His body was found by his former partner, hairdresser Fadi Fawaz, at his home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, on Christmas Day.

MUSIC fans have been speaking of their plans for 2018, when Glastonbury Festival will have a fallow year.
