IT will be a bright and dry evening for most of us across north Worcestershire and the Black Country, with cloud thickening overnight.

Low cloud, rain and drizzle will reach the outskirts of the region by dawn, with temperatures staying above 14°C throughout the course of the evening.

Looking ahead to Saturday, patchy light rain and drizzle will spread eastwards through the region during the morning, hitting high areas first.

Skies will gradually brighten by the afternoon, creating the odd clear spell.

Temperatures could reach 21°C at the warmest parts of the day.

Sunday will be another cloudy start, with a chance of showers in isolated areas.

Drier and brighter weather can be expected later on, setting the tone for the start of next week.
