A KIDDERMINSTER pub has been given a new lease of life after a complete refurbishment when new owners took over.
Neil and Marie Osbourne took over the Castle Inn, in Park Lane, and have spent the last eight weeks refurbishing the pub.
To celebrate, they will host a relaunch event on Saturday (July 22) from 2pm with a BBQ and live music between 3pm and 6pm.
Mr Osbourne said: "The pub has gone from being a bit drab and shabby, to really smart. We have completely redecorated the pub all the way through.
"We have been trading and customers have been telling us they really like the new pub.
"We have been in the pub trade for 15 years and to anyone the Castle Inn just looks like a back street pub. However, when you come out the back and see the garden which stretches right down to the canal. It is a great little beer garden.
"The pub was getting a bit old and tired - but now it looks fresh and new, with a completely new vibe to it."
