THE final few drop-in sessions for people to view Wyre Forest District Council’s draft local plan will take place over the next week.

Residents are being given the chance to view the authority’s draft Local Plan Preferred Options document which sets out its vision for growth between now and 2034 and ask questions and give their opinions as part of the consultation.

This includes information on where thousands of new homes might go, new employment areas and infrastructure such as schools and roads.

The document sets out two main options - one seeing additional development concentrated to the east/south east of Kidderminster (option A), with the other option (B) seeing growth more widely dispersed - particularly around Stourport and adjacent to Lea Castle, in Kidderminster.

The last drop in sessions will take place:

*Cookley Village Hall on Friday, July 28 from 2pm-7pm

*Stourport Civic Hall on Saturday, July 29 from 10am-4pm

*St Oswald’s Church Centre, Broadwaters Drive, Kidderminster on Friday, August 4 2017.

The consultation runs until August 14 and for more information, visit wyreforestdc.gov.uk/localplanreview.
