WHEN Steppenwolf got their motor running and headed out on to the highway, I bet the adventure they were looking for didn’t involve being stuck in traffic jams.
But that is what many motorists in North Worcestershire and the Black Country will be going wild about during rush hour today.

A quick look around the region has thrown up the following hot spots you might want to avoid:
*Castle Road, Studley. The road is closed eastbound between Riverside and Hardwick Lane due to roadworks. A diversion is in place via Hardwick Lane.
*A461 Stourbridge Road, Holly Hall, Dudley. Traffic heavier than normal on A461 Stourbridge Road before Kingswinford Road (Scotts Green Island).
*A456 Worcester Road and Kidderminster Road, West Hagley. Queueing traffic on A456 Worcester Road and Kidderminster Road around Summervale Road / Western Road.
*A4100 Forge Lane, Cradley Heath. Temporary traffic lights in operation and electricity work being carried out on A4100 Forge Lane at Chester Road / Woods Lane. Expect delays.
