GOOD evening everyone, we're here to get you home as quick as possible on this Friday evening - ready for the weekend.

So, if you’re looking for a stress free journey and want to avoid the rush hour hot-spots – why not use our traffic update?

A quick glance around the Black Country and North Worcestershire suggests the roads are looking okay in general, apart from where there are ongoing road works. Some to look out for are:

Near Kidderminster and Hagley, there are temporary traffic lights and roadworks causing delays on Stakenbridge Lane in both directions at Churchill Lane/Iverley Lane. The roadworks consist of the rebuilding of a headwall.

In Bromsgrove, one lane is closed due to roadworks on the M5 Northbound at J4A, M42. There are cones out for traffic management purposes as a result of the major roadworks on the Oldbury Viaduct (M5 J2-1).

While, in Halesowen, there is very slow traffic on the A456, Manor Way Westbound at A459 Grange Road Roundabout.

In Cradley Heath, temporary traffic lights and electricity work on the A4100, Forge Lane, at Chester Road/Woods Lane. Expect delays.

And, in Redditch, there are roadworks and temporary traffic lights on Holloway Lane between Other Road/Trescott Road/Ipsley Street and Holloway Drive.
