A MAN has been jailed for nearly 20 years after he grromed and sexually abused five Dudley schoolgirls.

Kevin Giannoni carried out a string of sex attacks on the girls over an eight year period as he trapped them in his "world of sexual depravity".

The 53-year-old from Cannon Drive, Coseley, was caged for 17 and a half years at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

  • A BEWDLEY man who took stolen jewellery to a Cash Converters in Stourport hours after it had been stolen in a burglary has been jailed

John Baker, 40, of Hornbeam Close, sold some of the valuable jewellery for £260 within hours of the raid on a house in Crundles Lane, in Astley, on August 1.

He was locked up for a total of 19 months after Worcester Crown Court he had breached a suspended sentence.

  • A 14-YEAR-OLD boy has been released under investigation after another teenager was stabbed in the abdomen in Bromsgrove.

A teenage boy suffered the stab wound, which is not believed to be life-threatening, at around 11.30am on Monday, October 9, in Spirehouse Lane, Blackwell.
