The transfer chain involving Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi reached a conclusion on deadline day as all three strikers sealed moves to new clubs.

Borussia Dortmund forward Aubameyang was announced as an Arsenal player on Wednesday morning, signing a long-term contract for a club-record fee, before Giroud replaced Batshuayi at Chelsea.

Giroud arrived on an 18-month deal at the same time Batshuayi left Stamford Bridge to become Aubameyang’s replacement at Dortmund on a loan deal until the end of the season.

It has also been reported that Mesut Ozil has signed a new contract keeping him at Arsenal until the end of the 2021 season.

Mathieu Debuchy has left Arsenal and joined French side St Etienne until the end of the season.
