GOOD morning. We are here to provide any information on incidents that might crop up throughout the rush hour period this morning on our Black Country and North Worcestershire roads.

So far the roads across the area are pretty quiet, but the M42 northbound is busy from J1 A38 / B4096 (Bromsgrove) to J3 A435 (Portway / Redditch), while the usual slow traffic is causing delays in Fairfield on A491 Sandy Lane eastbound between B4091 Stourbridge Road / Madeley Road and Third Road.

There are areas of planned roadworks which are causing delays, they include:

Speed restriction of 30 mph and one lane closed due to major roadworks and contraflow on M5 both ways between J1 (West Bromwich / Birmingham) and J2 (Oldbury). Work on the Oldbury Viaduct means that all traffic is sharing one side of the road as a contraflow.

There are also speed restriction of 20 mph in Pensnett due to roadworks and temporary traffic lights on A4101 High Street at High Oak.

Temporary traffic lights and roadworks are in place in Stourport on A451 Minster Road both ways near Windermere Way near to Stourport High School.

In Catshill there are temporary traffic lights and electricity work on B4185 Meadow Road at B4091 Stourbridge Road / Westfields, gas main work on Milton Road at Barley Mow Lane and telecoms work on Woodrow Lane at Churchill Road.

While in Rowley Regis, there are temporary traffic lights and roadworks on Doulton Road at Knowle Road and water main work on Doulton Road at Cornfield Road.

There are speed restriction of 40 mph due to roadworks on A38 southbound in Lickey between M5 J4 (Bromsgrove / Stourbridge) and Barley Mow Lane, while there is speed restriction of 30 mph due to roadworks on A38 Stoke Road westbound in Stoke Heath between Sherwood Road and B4094 Worcester Road in Stoke Heath.
